“There is no hour that is worthless because it can all be brought under the umbrella of worship.” — Paul Snyder
Some days you wonder — what good was there? Did anything that was done matter? Why bother?
Yes. It matters. Everything we do, whether it was in the plan for the day or an unexpected change in schedule, has worth. The potential is great. Each moment, every hour, is an opportunity to love God and love our neighbor, glorifying God in what we do and how we do it. Each little thing can be a treasure when offered as worship to the Almighty God.
Fuel for this purpose can be found daily in time with God and His Word. Focused time with God carries over so that we are responding to Him in all that we do, not responding to all the little things going on throughout the day. Even a few minutes meditating on Scripture and praying will set the tone for the hours to come.
So today, let’s turn our eyes to Jesus and worship Him with every hour.
